Have you ever wished you could see the world through someone else’s eyes? Well now, with Google glasses, it’s possible. You can see the Earth as an astronaut sees it from space. Or even look out of the eyes of Justin Bieber! Google glasses are the latest technology from Google and have more exciting features than you could possibly imagine. People who wear the glasses will be able to shoot videos or pictures while others watch live over the Internet. People have already joined one man from San Francisco on his 2,000 meter skydive as he wore the glasses and filmed the experience. Google glasses are like a clever friend who you can talk to through voice activation (语音激活). If you get lost you can say “OK Glasses, where am I?”, and the built-in GPS system will find your location and tell you where you need to go. There is also a computer screen in the top-right corner for you to look up where you are. Actually, Google glasses are a lot like a smartphone. But they save you the trouble of having to pull it out of your pocket. At the moment there are only a few volunteers with Google glasses. Google is testing them before they are officially released at the end of the year. A lot of the volunteers complain they make them look silly. Google says that they hope to team up with designers to make them look more trendy. Some people are not sure whether they find Google glasses cool or creepy (令人害怕). When someone is wearing Google glasses it is not obvious whether or not they are using them. Look around—someone could be videoing you right now and you would have no idea!
