The instructor will create student groups who will be assigned specific topics to present to the class, doing so in a “compare and contrast” format wherein your group will be pitted against another group with a contrasting viewpoint on the assignment. After teams are formed, your group will be allowed to choose the topic, as defined by the due date on the syllabus, and the perspective you wish to advocate, promote, or defend. Each team will present once during the term with each presentation being limited to 12 minutes. After each team presents, a six minute rebuttal period will ensue, 3 minutes per team, after which 5 minutes will be reserved for questions from the class. all team members should participate in the preparation of the presentation materials, each members need to make the actual presentation.
