Disneyland is a happy place for both kids and adults. The first one was built in Los Angeles and opened on July 17, 1955. Walter E. Disney designed the park and hoped that it would be a source of joy to the world. Now there are five Disneylands in the world---Los Angeles, Florida, Paris, Tokyo, and Hong Kong. In 2016, there will be a new Disneyland in Shanghai. Disneyland Park is made up of eight areas. Main Street, U.S.A. is the first area to see when guests enter the park. There are many stores on Main Street including a candy store, jewelry and watch shop, as well as a hat shop. At the far end of Main Street is Sleeping Beauty Castle, where the beautiful fireworks are displayed. Besides these, there are Adventureland, New Orleans Square, Frontierland, Fantasyland, Mickey’s Toontown and Tomorrowland. In the park, many Disney characters can be found and they greet visitors, talk with children and take photos with guests.
