This is a story about Kitano Takeshi (北野武), a famous Japanese movie actor and director, and his mother. Kitano Takeshi didn't like his mother, so he seldom came home to visit her. He disiliked his mother because she constantly asked him for money. And the more money he made, the more money she asked for. If he failed to send his mother money on time, she would call him and yell at him over the phone. Kitano Takeshi believed that his mother loved money more than him. When his mother died, he finally came home. After his mother's funeral, his elder brother handed him a bag. Inside the bag were an account book and a letter. The account was opened in the name of Kitano Takeshi. On the letter his mother wrote: "Among all my kids, you are the one that I'm worried about most. You always spend money without thinking and are too generous to your friends. In case you become penniless one day, I have to ask you for money. I saved it all up, for you. Make good use of your money." After reading the letter, Kitano Takeshi cried his heart out on the floor. He finally realized how much his mother loved him. But no matter how regretful he was, his mother was gone forever. Love your parents while they are alive. Don't wait until it is too late.
