GABA activity is reduced in people with mood and anxiety disorders, and drugs that increase GABA activity are commonly used to improve mood and decrease anxiety. The authors suggest that the practice of Yoga stimulates specific brain areas, therefore giving rise to changes that help to improve mood. This is a spiritual exercise that will do wonders for your mood. Your whole body will get a total workout and a great stretch when you use Yoga every day. Yoga is healthy and fun. If you're ready to take your life in a totally new direction, which is well balanced and healthy, then Yoga is probably for you. Start slowly and do not push yourself too hard.
