Corporate Library Cards For employees of businesses, agencies, or organizations to be eligible to check out books and materials, the entity must comply with the rules and regulations approved by the Maxwell County Library Board of Trustees. 1. There is a limit of five users unless an exception is approved prior to issuing the card. Written application on letterhead for a corporate card must list all authorized users(employees, owners, directors)for the card. 2. The annual fee for each card issued to an employee of an organization is $40. Government and nonprofit agencies are exempt from these fees. The fee is due at the time of application. 3. Fines assessed by the library for overdue or lost materials are the responsibility of the borrower. In the written application, the applying entity must acknowledge that it will be responsible for all damages, fines, and lost books and other items checked out on the card and comply with policies. 4. To obtain a corporate card, individuals must apply in person at the Maxwell County library. Applicants are required to show photo identification and a letter issued by their employer for their employment. With no exceptions, the corporate card must be presented upon checkout.
