There's a difference between "being a writer" and writing. As a matter of fact,many who wish to be writers are longing for wealth and fame, not the long hours alone at the type-writer. They are not aware of the fact that writing is a lonely, private and poor-paying a________(1). I remember when I became a freelance writer, I had no p________ (2)at all.
