Mr. Smith lives in a small and beautiful seaside town and he has worked there for more than ten years. He and his wife have a very comfortable house near the sea. During winter they would be quite happy, but every summer a lot of their relatives and friends used to spend holidays in their house because it was much cheaper than staying in hotel. Mr. Smith was unhappy about it, but he didn't know what to do. Finally one day in July, Mr. Smith complained to a clever friend of his who lived in the same place. "One of my wife's cousin is going to bring her husband, children and theri dog, and spend ten days with us the next month again. How have you prevented all your relatives and friends from coming to live with you in summer?" "Oh," the friend answered, "that is not difficult at all. I just borrow money from all the rich ones, and lend it to all the poor ones. After that, they seldom come again." Hearing this Mr. Smith smiled.
