Reading (U2) One day, a journalist came to a construction site. He met 3 construction workers and he asked the same question to them: What are you doing? The first one answered, “I’m making a wall. It’s boring and I’m fed up with this”. The second worker answered, “I’m building a house.” The third one answered, “I’m making this area more beautiful and comfortable for the people.” 20 years later, when the journalist saw his record again, his curiosity made him want to know how the workers are now. When he found the workers, he was very surprised: The first worker was still a worker. The second worker became a designer. The third worker was a real estate developer. He employed the previous 2 workers working for him. They were the same workers doing the same thing. But their mind made them different. Positive thinking brings positive result. Nowadays, a psychological concept is very popular: Law of Attraction. You attract into your life whatever you think about. So if you think positively, good things will happen to you. If you always worry and keep negative feeling, then bad things may come.
