Andy knew it the moment he woke up that morning. This was the day he had to make a decision. The train【C1】______and he saw a lot of other people getting on the train who were【C2】______making the same pilgrimage(朝圣)as he was. The train started to move out through the【C3】______where he grew up —he saw the school where he went when he was little, the park where he played football with his father, and eventually the cemetery(墓地)where his father was now【C4】______. His father had made this pilgrimage many times,【C5】______Andy had never gone with him. Andy hadnt had a good【C6】______with his father when he was alive, but since he died a year ago Andy found himself【C7】______more and more about his father. Now he was going to make the【C8】______pilgrimage that his father made so many times because he wanted to【C9】______and remember his father. And now he was doing it. It was a tradition which he felt【C10】______to be part of. The train arrived at the station. Now there were thousands of people there, everybody【C11】______in the same direction, everybody together, lots of people singing old songs. Andy remembered his father singing some of【C12】______songs. He was happy now that he had come. He knew he had made the【C13】______decision. Andy【C14】______understood why his father, and grandfather, had made this journey so often. It wasnt the【C15】______of the journey but the journey itself that was important. It was important to do the same【C16】______with lots of other people sometimes, to【C17】______a sense of a shared faith, and shared ideals. Andy turned round and【C18】______at the man beside him. The man smiled back at Andy. Even though these two men didnt【C19】______each other, they could see that they had something in common. They were walking in Andys fathers【C20】______. 【C1】
